Prisoner of Poetry Review
The poems in this book truly catalog FRECKLES' endeavor to find herself as a young biracial woman in a predominately black urban environment. Her poems speak eloquently to contemporary youth of all races and highlight the political and societal pressures that come to bear on their emotional and social development.
